Siegfried Raisin - privates

Thanks to WKW the fathers side of the tree is expanding fast

Just before Christmas I typed the name "Raisin" into the search field on www.wer-kennt-wen.de. The result quite astonished me: more than 30 persons were listed in the results list. Until then I thought the Raisin were a dying out family and name, now I learnt the opposite. Couriously I contacted these so far unknown people. The reaction were manifold. From "please leave me alone, I don't know you" to ignoring my messages finally to very warm and enthusiastic replies. Of course I was aware that not everybody would share my enthusiasm for genealogy. And that is exactly why I was so very happy and greatful about strangers sending me their personal data. And so many replies and a lot of information I was given. So in the last few weeks I could add more than 100 menbers to the family tree, wow! You find the result when you click "Browse the Family Tree". Thanks to all helpers and: input welcome any time.
